WBBC offers a variety of ministries where you can grow in your faith, serve others, and build meaningful connections. Whether you’re looking for a place to deepen your understanding of God’s Word or find support and fellowship, there’s something for everyone.
Adult Ministries
Sunday School
Our adult Sunday School thrives on a small-group Bible-study format that has been vital in building close, supportive relationships and lasting bonds within our church. Men and women gather separately to explore God’s Word in an environment that encourages meaningful discussions, questions, sharing, and support. If you haven’t joined us for our Sunday School hour, come join in the fellowship and see what you’ve been missing.
Young Adult Game Night
Providing intentional times of fellowship and encouragement in the Word of God for young adults in their 20s and 30s is a priority at our church. We believe this age group is often overlooked at many churches, yet they are in a season of life where major decisions are made that will shape their future—decisions about marriage, children, careers, and homeownership. The pressures of these choices can be overwhelming, but God designed the church to offer support and relief. That’s why we started the Young Adult Game Night at WBBC. We meet at 7:00 pm on the first Friday of every month to enjoy board games and card games while also reflecting on a verse of Scripture together. Many have shared that this has been just the encouraging fellowship they needed. We provide a separate game area for children, so parents can feel welcome to attend with their children. Visit our Young Adult Game Night page here for more information.
Men’s Bible Study
Every Wednesday at 9:00 AM, WBBC hosts a men’s Bible study in Candia, NH. This mid-week gathering offers a meaningful opportunity for men to dive deeply into God’s Word and grow in their knowledge of Scripture. All men are welcome! Space is limited, so if you’d like to attend, please email the office at [email protected] to reserve your spot and get location info.
Can’t make it in person? No problem! You can listen from home—our Bible study is recorded and available as a podcast called Battle-Ready Christian Men. Find it on YouTube, Podbean, Spotify, Amazon Music, and iHeart.
Children’s Ministries
Nursery (0-4 yrs.)
Children are the future of our community and our church, and as such they are always welcome at Weare Bible Baptist Church. For parents with little ones aged 4 and under, we offer a nursery which is staffed during our 11:00 AM worship service and is open for personal use at any time.
Sunday School (K5-5th grade)
During our 11:00 AM worship service, kids K5 through 5th grade may attend Junior Church, where they will learn about God through age-appropriate lessons and activities. Children start upstairs and join the adults in worship through our song service and are then dismissed to Junior Church just before the sermon.
Vacation Bible School (K5-age 15)
Each year, during the first full week of August, WBBC hosts an exciting Vacation Bible School for kids from kindergarten through age 15. This fun-filled week runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and wraps up with a special awards ceremony on Sunday morning. The entire church transforms to match the year’s theme, creating an immersive experience where kids enjoy Bible lessons, memory verses, singing, games, candy, and more! Parents are welcome to drop off their children or join in the fun. Visit our VBS page here for more details!
Teen Ministries
Sunday School
Teens tend to be very curious about the Bible and their faith. They want to understand why we believe what we believe as they prepare for an age where they will make their own life decisions. This is why we started the “Why We Believe” class for teenagers in 2022. This Sunday School program, held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Sunday mornings, deals with a reasoned defense of the faith and is designed for students in grades 6 through 12. If your teen has questions, we want to help them find the answers in God’s Word.
Teen Outings
Our regular teen outings provide opportunities for our young people to develop strong friendships as they grow in their faith. Activities like ice skating, bowling, or hiking give the teens time together to connect, be encouraged, and build lasting memories in a Christ-centered environment while also having fun.
Outreach Ministries
Each Friday, our pastor leads a worship service at 1:15 PM for residents of the assisted living community at All American Assisted Living in Londonderry, NH. He then continues with a shorter service at 2:00 PM for those in the “Rose Lane” memory care unit. This weekly ministry offers a meaningful opportunity to share the comfort and hope of God’s Word with individuals in their later years. If you have a loved one at either of these facilities, we’d love for you to join us.
Media Ministry
Through our Media Ministry, we’re committed to sharing God’s Word beyond the walls of our church. Stay connected with our ministry by following us on Facebook and Instagram. For sermons, visit our YouTube channel, where you can watch our Sunday morning (11:00 AM) and Wednesday evening (7:30 PM) livestreams and access a library of past messages.
Additionally, Pastor Barnes hosts The Bible Explained, a YouTube channel where he tackles difficult and intriguing questions about Scripture in a clear and approachable way. We also produce a weekly podcast, Battle-Ready Christian Men, a men’s Bible study focused on spiritual growth and strengthening men’s faith. You can find it on YouTube and all major podcast platforms.
Pastor Barnes is also a regular guest on the Point of View Radio Show: Millennial Roundtable Edition, a nationwide talk radio program based in Dallas, TX. The show streams monthly on Facebook and their website.
Conversational Spanish Class
Each fall, we offer a free 5-week Conversational Spanish class taught by one of our members, Fernando Alvarado. Originally from Costa Rica, Fernando has served as an official government translator for several decades. He now shares his love for language and ministry with our church and community through this engaging, beginner-friendly course. Whether you’re learning for missions, everyday conversation, or personal growth, this class is a great way to build confidence and connection in a welcoming environment.
Keep an eye on our website calendar for upcoming dates and registration details.
Toys for Tots
We are honored to participate in the Toys for Tots program each year as a meaningful way to serve our community. During November, families in need can sign up to receive free Christmas gifts for their children. Once toy orders are placed, we coordinate a pickup time for each family on a Saturday in mid-December, allowing them to “shop” from the toys we’ve received. It’s a true blessing to help make Christmas a joyful time for children and local families! If you or someone you know could benefit from this program, please visit our website in November for more details.
