Adult Ministry
Adults meet at 10:00am on Sunday morning for separate men’s and ladies’ Sunday School classes, then we all gather together at 11:00am for worship. Following this morning service we provide a free, potluck meal for all in attendance as we fellowship from noon to 1:00pm. At 1:00pm we conclude our Lord’s Day celebration with singing, a devotional sermon, and prayer. On Wednesday nights at 7:00pm we meet again for an encouraging hour of prayer and Bible study.
Children’s Ministry
Children are the future of our community and our church and as such they are always welcome at Weare Bible Baptist Church. We provide nursery/child-care services for any parents with children 4 years of age or less. For children from k5 to 5th grade we have a special Sunday School class at 10:00am every Sunday and an exciting Junior Church Service at 11:00am during the regular, adult worship service.
Youth (Teen) Ministry
We have found that our teens are very curious about the Bible and their faith. They want to know why we believe what we believe because they are preparing for the age when they must make their own decisions about their lives. This is why we started the “Why We Believe” class for teenagers in 2022. “Why We Believe” is a Sunday School program from 10:00am to 11:00 on Sunday morning that deals with a reasoned defense of the faith and is designed for grades 6 through 12. If your teen has questions, we want to help them find the answers in God’s Word.
Vacation Bible School
Every year Weare Bible Baptist Church hosts an exciting Vacation Bible School for children from kindergarten to the 5th grade! This is a week long event running from 9:00am to 12:00pm Monday through Friday and concluding with an awards ceremony on Sunday morning. The entire church will be decorated to match this year’s theme and the children will enjoy Bible lessons, memory verses, singing, games, candy, and more! This year’s VBS will be held on the first full week of August from the 7th through the 10th. Parents are welcome to drop off their kids or to come and participate with them. We hope to see you there!
Young Adult Ministry
One major emphasis that we have made in our church is in providing times of fellowship and encouragement in the Word of God specifically for young adults from the age of 20 to 40. We feel that these are often the most overlooked members of many churches yet these are the people who in the time of their lives when they make the decisions that will define them. In this age most will marry, have children, buy a house, and choose a career! The pressures of these decisions are heavy but God made the church in such a way to provide relief from this stress. That’s why we started the Young Adult Game Night at WBBC. We meet at 6:00pm on the first Friday of every month and play board games and card games together as well as spending time considering a verse of Scripture as a group. Many have said that this was exactly the encouraging fellowship that they desperately needed. We have a separate game area for kids in attendance so that parents with children will feel welcome to come. Come anytime between the hours of 6:00pm and 10:00pm and jump right in to the games!
